Hidden along US Highway 411 in the heart of East Tennessee, The Road Less Traveled RV Park lives up to its name as a peaceful retreat from the everyday. Our park is located just across the street from the Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park — the same Ocoee River that hosted the whitewater slalom events in the 1996 Olympic Games. The Hiwassee River offers world-class fishing, rafting, and tubing, and the Cherokee National Forest is right at your doorstep with hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and hunting trails.
Beyond the outdoors, you’ll find antique and thrift stores scattered through the valley, the Hiwassee Rail Adventure offering scenic rides through the national forest, and a charming local Delano Community Farm Market operated by the Mennonite community with farm-fresh produce and baked goods throughout the spring and summer. A one-hour drive along the river and over the dams brings you to the mountain town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. At The Road Less Traveled, there’s always something worth discovering.
